And don’t overanalyse music sounds different everyday you never know when you might have hit the nail on the head because it’s your own head.

There are so many ways to write and the outcome should be organic, forcing music never works and leads to a folder full of unused snippets. The best advice i can give is to try and finish a first draft in one sitting, take a break when you are between 2 thirds and 3 quarters through to reflect, it’s that slump point that makes or breaks a song and once you master the art of hating the product you can push through that lay section and make something special. Otherwise it’s just melodies in the wind
