Review: Tobisonics - Noirstar (Dark City Edition)

Tobi first made his name on the unsigned scene as a producer of electronic music and mixing/mastering the music of singer/songwriters. His most prolific partnership is with Swedish Indie Folk Artist Jon Magnusson, the two of them having collaborated on 30 releases in the last 12 months.

In a break away from producing behind the scenes, and tired of streaming media platforms continuously creating new 'Tobi' profiles with every remix (or alternative versions as he prefers to call them) Tobisonics was born.

Noirstar (Dark City Edition) is the first release from Tobisonics, the opening statement for a series of projects in this vein. The cinematic synth-scape is a re-imagination of Las Vegas based duo Fans of Jimmy Century's Noirstar (Memories of his City) is a dark. You can check it out below and listen on all platforms from Friday 7th November.
