5 ways to prepare for Off The Record 2018!

Can you believe it? We are less than 2 days away from the second ever Off The Record Independent Music Festival. Taking place at The Brunswick, Brighton and Hove's premier music and arts venue, 11 more amazing independent bands will be taking to the stage and blowing your mind.

Last year we shared our top 5 tips to get you in the mood for a full day of brand new music, high quality food and drink, and excellent company. This year we're doing it again, here's how to be prepared and get into the festival mood...

  1. Buy your tickets! It might sound obvious but last year we sold more tickets on the last day than any other day before! You have until midnight Friday to get them at the lower price of £7 here. Some tickets will be available on the door at the higher price of £10, so you might as well get in early. There won't be any concessions or cheap tickets on the door.

  2. Print you ticket! Or have it ready on your phone and help save the planet. The door gets quite busy so to avoid delays have your ticket ready and we'll swap it for a wristband at the door. Doors open at 2pm, get there early to see all of the bands and get your money's worth!

  3. Listen to the playlist! Off The Record is all about discovering new music by local, independent bands, so why not start before you get there Get yourself in the festival mood and listen to tracks by all of the bands on our fantastic festival playlist below...

  4. Check the FAQs! OK so you've done all of the above and now you're wondering where to park, where the venue is, what there is to eat on the day and all of that sort of stuff, right? No problem, we've got you covered, check out the FAQs section on the website and if you can't find the answer you're looking for drop us a note and we'll be happy to help.

  5. Tell your friends! Now that you've prepared it's time to tell everyone you know and make sure they get themselves a ticket as well! Live music is most enjoyable with friends, so bring them along.
