5 ways to get ready for the Off The Record Independent Music Festival...

This Saturday the first ever Off The Record Independent Music Festival takes place at Brighton and Hove's premier music and arts venue, The Brunswick. That's just under 2 days to get ready for a full day of brand new music, high quality food and drink, and excellent company? Here's our top 5 tips to help you get into the festival mood...

  1. Buy your tickets! Um... it might sound obvious but just in case... if you haven't got your tickets you have until 5pm Friday to get them at the lower price of £7 here. Some tickets will be available on the door at the higher price of £10, so you might as well get in early.

  2. Get the free app! When you've ordered your tickets you'll get an email from us with a link to download the festival app. Inside the app you'll find more information on the bands, stage times, check in, and a place to share pictures.If you haven't got your link yet let us know and we'll resend it.

  3. Listen to the playlist! Off The Record is all about discovering new music by local, independent bands, so why not start before you get there Get yourself in the festival mood and listen to tracks by all of the bands on our fantastic festival playlist here...

  4. Check the FAQs! OK so you've done all of the above and now you're wondering where to park, where the venue is, what there is to eat on the day and all of that sort of stuff, right? No problem, we've got you covered, check out the FAQs section on the website and if you can't find the answer you're looking for drop us a note and we'll be happy to help.

  5. Tell your friends! Now that you've prepared it's time to tell everyone you know and make sure they get themselves a ticket as well! Live music is most enjoyable with friends, so bring them along.
