Festival co-founders 1 in Five return to Off The Record with their unique brand of New Wave Of Rock N Roll featuring fast-paced rock n roll tunes about corruption, climate change, and social injustice.

1 in Five was born in 2013 and their debut EP Hold On was released the following year telling stories about a world filled with corruption and conspiracy at the highest levels. Characterised by howling guitars and thundering vocals songs from the EP went on to be played on over 250 radio stations worldwide and received warm reviews.

By 2016 planet earth suffered while the population were sidetracked by the pantomime of politics. Among the noise the Evolve EP was released, looking at the world around us through the eyes of those who remained unnoticed and unreported.

The band's energetic live stage which usually includes jumping of stage, freestyle guitar jams, and terrible dancing has seen them win over crowds at numerous gigs and festivals across the countries.

In addition to touring around the South Coast, 1 in Five have played prestigious venues such as The George Tavern in London, The Cave in Addlestone, and The Prince Albert in Brighton. The band have also entertained numerous festival crowds including Shropshire's Pheztival, and a headline slot at The Sussex Music Festival in 2019.

Pleased to be back 'home' again after the terror of 2020 you can fully expect to be entertained by these guys on The Needle Drop stage this year!
